Hi everyone. Finally got my blog up and running after numerous attempts over the last couple of months. Time just seems to fly with the blink of an eye.
My first post is showing some of the creations the ladies made in our Thursday card making class just last week. This was no ordinary class mind you. The last Thursday of every month I have introduced a "Card Buffet". A concept which I cannot take the credit for (from America). The idea is to scatter a lot of product (preferably scraps and leftovers of anything and everything) along a table. Just add some stamps and inks for everyone to add images and sentiments. Then they must come up with some creations using only what is laid out. I guess you could say it is a challenge of sorts. Anyway the point is to get everyone creating outside their comfort zone.
I must say we did end up with some pretty amazing results. Here are some of the end results;-
This was the winning card. The creator challenged herself using all the elements as they weren't what she would usually use, especially the green texture ribbon thingy. Well done!
They were all pretty amazing but these were the top cards. The main thing was we all had a blast with this and look forward to the next one!
