Off the page creation featuring Imaginarium Designs

Hello blog visitors.  As promised, here are some pics of an off the page creation I made using some more of the fabulous Imaginarium Designs products.

The cubes are from the Kaisercraft timber collection.  I just painted them in burnt umber then used a crackle medium.  After this dried I applied a liberal coat of cream paint and voila, a beautiful crackle effect.  Just love the way it came up.

All the papers used are from the Graphic 45 Once upon a springtime collection  (one of my favs).  All chipboard pieces are from Imaginarium Designs and flowers are predominantly from I am Roses.

And here is a little notebook with chipboard from Imaginarium Designs mini's collection.

Well that's it for today.  Thanks for stopping by and be sure to pop back again soon.

Ciao for now.  xx

Projects featuring Imaginarium Designs

Two posts in one day!!!!!  Yes I am on a roll.  A little while ago I mentioned in one of my posts that I took a little break to McLaren Vale, just outside of Adelaide and visited the very talented Jane Tregenza of Seriously Scrapbooking ( HERE is the website for the shop) and  founder of Imaginarium Designs.  To see the range of products available just click HERE. Whilst I was there I got some of the wonderful goodies from  Imaginarium Designs to create some project with  and have finally finished most of them.  I am just putting the finishing touches onto an altered item and as soon as that is finished I will put it up on the blog.

The first project is a layout of my favourite pic of my girls.  As they are now teenagers these beautiful moments of "sisterly love" are few and far between to capture on film, so when I do I treasure them!  On this layout I have used a few yummy Imaginarium chippies.  The main one is the frame which I have painted black acrylic paint.

I used a set of the butterflies in two different sizes and coloured them using pearlescent inks.  I then bent their wings slightly to give the impression of flight.  The word Dream is also Imaginarium alpha' s. The background I have stamped using the Darkroom Door script stamp and just  sprayed two different colours of glimmer mist over the whole page then distressed the edges.

This next image shows one of the butterflies up close as well as a set of the flourish accents from the Imaginarium range.  Not sure of the name of the pack but you can go to the Imaginarium website linked above to see.

The big blue flower I made using my spellbinders scalloped circles in various sizes and cut out several pieces of white tissue then covered them in glimmer mists.  I then put them together with a brad them crumpled them up around the brad.  Once all the layers were crumpled enough I gently unravelled them to reveal this beautiful creation.  I think it turned out OK.

All the other flowers, petals and leaves are from I am Roses.

The next project is a mini album I made using the Bo Bunny Timepiece collection.  LOVE IT.  I also used the Noteworthy Journaling pack as well numerous other products.  The imaginarium Designs chippies just make any project come together soooooo darn fast and they are super easy to work with.  Throughout this mini I used all different mediums on them and they just came up a treat.

The little flourish on the left hand page below is actually part of a 12 inch border flourish which I dissected and used it throughout the album.  So versatile.

The flourishes below are part of the mini's collection.

The following two pics are of the rest of the 12 inch border flourish I cut up.

If you would like to see more of Imaginarium Designs chippies in use you really need to check out the Graphic 45 blog (as well as the Imaginarium blog).  Jane is on the Graphic 45 Design team and some of the other designers often feature these chippies in their projects.  Jane and her talented team will also have a stand at the Brisbane Scrapbook and Papercraft Fair this June long weekend (June 11-13) so if your in or around the area it is worth going to check out the whole range in person and maybe even purchase a couple.

Well that's it for this little chicken today.  Off to do some real work.  Remember to check back soon for the altered item using the chippies,

Ciao for now. x

A Little bit of Whimsy

Wow! Can someone please press pause on the clock because my days/weeks and speeding past in a blurrrrr.  Have been somewhat busy these days. My eldest daughter's rowing season has started and apart from 4.30 am starts 3 times a weeks and driving her all over the countryside I seem to be spending less time doing what I love best SCRAPPING.  I even feel like I opened my eyes on mothers day only to discover it was time to go to bed in preparation for the week ahead.  I just hope all you mums out there had a wonderful day as I did.

On to today's post....This past week I rediscovered my passion for my copics.  A little while ago I stumbled upon Whimsy Stamps on the Internet searching for something or other and I just fell in love with the Diva's from the Kenny K Collection.  You can check them out HERE.  Trust me when I say they are addictive!!!!  A lot of the papers used to make these cards are old ones from my stash.  The first card is designed using the Club Kid stamp.  I have used a sentiment from the April Unity Kit of the Month.

The next card is created using the Troublemaker stamp (she doesn't look anything like a troublemaker).  All the sent6iments are made using the Treasured Moments tickets set and die as well as the Party Mini letter set.

This one I used the Download Diva stamp together with the Ticket sentiments.

The next on I used the All that (now this one looks like a troublemaker) together with the ticket sentiments.

I liked the colours I used in the second card I just had to do another one but only I used different papers and made the card bigger.

I had soooo much fun making these cards I am in the process of making some more with some of the other Kenny K design so stay tuned for more to come!

Ciao for now X

Le Romantique Cover all

Hey everyone, thought that while I was on a roll I would post some more projects that I have been meaning to put up but just haven't had the time.

I made this Album Cover all to teach a little while ago and had such a great time creating it.  I used the 8x8 Zutter flat spine Cover All and the Le Romantique 8x8 Paper pad.  These Cover All's take all the hard work out of making mini albums.  I had this one put together in just a couple of hours.  Can you believe it.

Some other items I used were I am Roses flowers, petals and leaves (one of my favourite products ever!), Martha Stewart butterfly punch, Prima Say it in Pearls, Zutter closure, Maya Road Rosette trim, Kaisercraft stamps, inks, glimmer mists and embossing powders.

Now all I have to do is scrap the insert pages.  I haven't decided what pics I will put in it yet but will share them when they are done.

Thanks again for stopping by.  Would love to know what you think so please leave a comment.

Ciao xx

Graphic 45 Once upon a Springtime Mini

Wow!  It's May already!  Where has the beginning of this year gone?  As you can probably guess (from my lack of blogging) April was a busy month for me.  My girls had early school holidays and I squeezed in a quick week in McLaren Vale just outside of Adelaide.  Will share some pics of the beautiful scenery in another post.  I also got to catch up with Jane Trengenza of Seriously Scrapbooking.  Some of you may know her from her amazing work she creates for the Graphic 45 Design Team.  Last year Jane also started her own laser cut chipboard company called Imaginarium Designs, and boy, are these products just beautiful to work with.  I will show case some of her products in some projects I have been working on  in a later post.  I just need to put some finishing touches on them.  I will be putting her blinking on my blog so you can visit her store and purchase these amazing products.

Now onto today's post.  A little while ago I made this cute little mini for my sister who is expecting her first little bundle of joy.  This little baby is quite special as Sarah and her husband were informed that they may not be able to have a baby.  But thanks to their determination and the wonderful world of IVF their little baby is due in early July.

This mini is intended for Sarah to scrap her pregnancy journey to have as a keep sake to treasure.  As we  don't know what the sex of the baby is, I thought the Graphic 45 Springtime collection was just perfect.  This album was a quick make  using  a variety of embellies.  The title "Cherish" is  an Imaginarium Designs chippie.  Some items used were Tim Holtz on the edge die and stylised labels die, I am roses flowers,  petals and skeleton leaves, embossing folders, Martha Stewart punches, Spellbinders and I used the Bind-it-all to pull it all together.

Well thanks for stopping by.  Hope to see you back soon
