Paper Napkin Cards

Hi everyone.  Wow, where has my week gone?  It has come and gone that fast for me that it was just a blur!    This week in our card class we certainly had loads of fun.  We made a few cards using just regular patterned paper napkins, some cling film and cardstock.  The results were amazing. Below is just one of the cards, which happened to not only be my favourite, but also everyone in the class.

All you do is place a piece newspaper on your work surface.  Put  your  card stock down, place a layer of cling film over the top then remove the extra layers from the back of the napkin and place this on top of the cling film.  Then you need to place at least 2 pieces of newspaper over the top and iron on the highest setting until the cling film has melted and adhered the napkin to the card stock.  The cling film just acts as a type of glue.  The results are only limited to your imagination!  Hope you have fun trying this. Oh and remember to make sure to use newspaper or you will ruin your iron.  I guess it would be a good excuse to not have to iron again!

Below is another card I made this week.  I used the Unity February Kit of the Month (I love these stamps and the March kit should be here soon, woohoo).  I also used the rose cuttlebug embossing folder and Spellbinders Classic scalloped Oval set to cut the window.  The paper inside is from the Papermania Honey & Hugs paper pad.
